'The Walking Dead' Season 6 Cast News: Negan Will Join the Finale

A new character is expected to join the hit series "The Walking Dead."

It was revealed that the sixth season of "The Walking Dead" will introduce a new character into the mix. Jeffrey Dean Morgan will be taking on the role of Negan. The character will make his debut in the upcoming finale of "The Walking Dead" season 6.

Avid fans of the comic book have been anticipating his appearance in the series. As laid out in the graphic novels of Robert Kirkman, Negan is notorious for killing Glenn. The story in the graphic novel illustrated a more violent death for Glenn, unlike Glenn's fall from the dumpster before being devoured by a group of walkers.

According to Celeb Dirty Laundry, Morgan will be joining the series as a regular for the seventh season of the series. Since Negan is still alive in the graphic novels, it can be expected that he will join the series for a long time.

The news of Negan's involvement in the series sparked after Tom Payne took the role of Paul "Jesus" Monroe. Payne was seen on the set of the series, which proved to be sign for Negan's introduction. The graphic novels showed Paul helping Rick go against Negan and his followers.

Furthermore, the fact that Negan will be joining the series brings up the idea that Glenn could still be alive. Glenn was previously seen getting devoured by several walkers, which shocked fans. However, there are still speculations that he is still alive. Some viewers were dumbfounded that the series would be willing to kill off one of their major characters in that manner. Unfortunately, fans have yet to receive an answer concerning Glenn's fate on the series.

"The Walking Dead" season 6 airs on AMC every Sunday.
