This Girl Lost Everything and Couldn't Understand How God Let it Happen – But Then a Surprise Changed Her Heart

Veronica was never prepared for what her own mother was ready do to her. She was told that she did not love her, and then did something terrible that landed her in jail for 40 years. Just when Veronica thought she lost it all, God sent an angel to save her.

This was going to be Veronica's first Christmas in an orphanage and this is tough for any kid to deal with. She had been at her lowest point when she received a life-changing gift she will never forget. Veronica was sent an Operation Christmas Child shoebox. This shoebox was life changing because it made her realize there are people out there who care about her. At this point in her life, that was extremely important to keep her motivated.

The shoebox that Veronica received renewed her faith in God and family. She went on to work in the orphanage and help those who were in the same position as she was with no family.
