Each week brings the anniversaries of great milestones, horrid tragedies, amazing triumphs, and everything in between.

Here are just a few things that happened this week, Nov. 25 to Dec. 1, in Church history. They include the birth of Luis Palau, an attempted assassination of Pope Paul VI, and the first national observance of Thanksgiving.
