4. FDA abortion drug safety review: 'Twisted the data'

Kennedy told Sen. James Lankford, R-Okla., that the Federal Drug Administration (FDA) under the Biden administration manipulated data regarding potential adverse effects of the abortifacient drug mifepristone, and assured that the FDA under Commissioner Dr. Marty Makary is continuing an abortion drug safety review.

"I can't give you the exact timing. I talked to Marty Makary about it yesterday, and he said it is progressing apace," Kennedy said in response to Lankford's inquiry regarding the review. "We're getting data in all the time, new data that we're reviewing. And we know that during the Biden administration, they actually twisted the data to bury one of the safety signals."

Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America President Marjorie Dannenfelser said in a statement that she and her organization "look forward to his promised release of new data after years of the Biden administration ignoring this urgent issue."
