Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. met with lawmakers on Capitol Hill Thursday during a contentious three-hour hearing of the Senate Finance Committee.

The back-and-forth at times grew heated and personal, with both Republicans and Democrats firing criticisms at Kennedy amid his polarizing leadership at HHS, which has come under scrutiny amid controversial leadership decisions, structural changes and shifts in vaccine policy.
