Live Action President Lila Rose called on Arizona pro-lifers to "gain strength" from the ruling and combat a proposed amendment seeking to enshrine "abortion rights" into the state constitution that is expected to appear on the ballot in November.

"Thousands of children can now be saved from the violence of abortion in Arizona and have the chance to live. This decision made by the Arizona Supreme Court affirms the reality that preborn children have an inherent right to life supported by existing state laws," Rose stated. "The Court's decision should be applauded and used as a model of honest and prudent jurisprudence that acknowledges the rights of preborn children within their state."
