President-elect Donald Trump has picked 53-year-old Steven Terner Mnuchin to be his nominee for secretary of the U.S. Department of the Treasury.

A veteran of Wall Street and controversial in some circles for his business history, here are five interesting things about Mnuchin.

Other Trump cabinet picks include Sen. Jeff Sessions for attorney general, Rep. Tom Price for HHS secretary, Betsy DeVos for education secretary and Elaine Chao for labor secretary.
