Trump's week in review: China visit; JD Vance, Dr. Oz talk Medicaid, Medicare fraud crackdown

1. White House launches Moms.gov
On Monday, one day after Mother’s Day, Trump hosted an event at the White House announcing the launch of a new website called Moms.gov. According to the president, the site includes “helpful information about addressing clinical care, pregnancy resources, nutrition tips, TrumpRX and Trump accounts.”
Sen. Katie Britt, R-Ala., who said she discussed the idea for Moms.gov with Secretary of State Marco Rubio and fellow senators before its launch, said the website “supports moms through the prenatal, postpartum and early childhood development stages of motherhood.”
The website includes tools allowing women to locate pregnancy resource centers and federally qualified health centers in their communities. It also provides information about opening Trump accounts — tax-free investment accounts for American children that begin with a $1,000 federal contribution — and accessing discounted medications through TrumpRx.gov.
In addition to unveiling Moms.gov, Trump also announced a new Department of Labor rule allowing employers to offer fertility benefits outside traditional health insurance plans.
The move comes as Trump has embraced in-vitro fertilization as an option for couples struggling with infertility, drawing criticism from pro-life advocates such as Lila Rose, who argues that “over 90% of tiny boys and girls created via IVF” are “frozen, discarded, or killed.”
