David Tutera, host of "My Fair Wedding," has responded to his ex-partner's claim that he is suffering from sex addiction. The two have been married for 10 years but recently decided to divorce, citing "irreconcilable differences."
Tutera's partner, Ryan Jurica, alleged that Tutera suffers from sexual addiction and hired prostitutes in order to satisfy his needs. Jurica is seeking full custody of the couple's impending twins, who are due to be born in July via a surrogate.
"The allegations against me are baseless and untrue, and I will fight vigorously to defend my reputation in the court of law as well as the court of public opinion," Tutera told People. "I believe them to be fabrications of a desperate individual in order to gain a legal advantage in our separation."
Tutera is a world-famous wedding organizer who gained his own show on WE tv; he often designs the weddings of A-list celebrities and helps everyday women transform into dream brides. He has built a solid reputation for his work and expertise.
He and Jurica wed in Vermont in September 2003 but separated on January 1, 2013. The two have cited "irreconcilable differences," though they have not said exactly what those differences may be. Both men are fighting for full physical custody of their impending children and will likely be forced to share custody of the twins.
"I am saddened by these developments; I am angered by the lies, and I am committed to moving beyond this painful moment to focus on my professional commitments and the upcoming birth of my children," Tutera added.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Tutera does not want to pay spousal support and wants Jurica to be responsible for paying all legal fees related to the divorce and the division of property. It's unknown when the two will be in court to learn of the settlement.
