'Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3' now playable on Steam; Digital Release Comes with Previous DLCs and Art Book

Six years after it was first released for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, the crossover fighting game "Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3" is now available to play on the Xbox One, as well as on Microsoft Windows via the digital distribution platform, Steam.

The popular title is the result of the epic collaboration between Marvel and Capcom, who have joined forces in order to give gaming and superhero enthusiasts the most exciting 3 vs. 3 tag battles featuring beloved characters from both Capcom's video game franchises and Marvel's comic book series.

The Steam release comes complete with all the previous downloadable content (DLCs) that has been released for the game along with the "Marvel vs. Capcom: Official Complete Works" art book. This features in-game artwork as well as rare and never-before-seen sketches among others.

Players will be able to select their favorites from a roster of iconic Marvel and Capcom characters to customize their teams in with "Heroes and Heralds" mode. They can then hone their skills in preparation for online battles of strength with other players from around the world

A team may consist of three characters of the player's choice and each of them can be called upon to assist or continue combos, a feature that is absent from other popular fighting games like "Street Fighter" and "Mortal Kombat."

"Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3" is best played on a 64-bit PC on either Windows 7 SP1, Windows 8, or Windows 8.1. Recommended processor is Intel Core 2 Quad 2.7 GHz with a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 graphics card, or better. The game is DirectSound compatible and should work just fine on a DirectX 9.0c support or higher. Recommended memory is at 4 GB RAM with 4 GB available space.

Playing the game also requires a broadband internet connection and a genuine Xbox 360 PC compatible controller for a hassle-free gaming experience.
