US churches face continuing campaign of vandalism into 2025: List
4. Liberty Baptist Church
In a Facebook post published on May 1, Liberty Baptist Church in Lanexa, Virginia, announced that “Overnight, our church sign was heavily vandalized.” Images of the damage show the words “Hail Satan” spray-painted on one side of the church’s digital sign, while the other side was desecrated with the word “Lucifer” along with the symbol for the anarchist movement.
A symbol for the anarchist movement was also drawn on the ground outside the property, along with a marker documenting the history of the place of worship.
