Wartburg Seminary to Host Sesquicentennial Closing Banquet

The Luthern-related Wartburg Theological Seminary (WTS), located on the banks of Mississippi River in Dubque, Ia., will be hosting a banquet to mark its sesquicentennial year with celebrations at the Grand River Center on the evening of May 14.

With the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA)'s Presiding Bishop, Mark Hanson, as the keynote speaker, this banquet will serve as a moment to "remember the past, rejoice in today's accomplishments and its continued recommitment to serve the Gospel for tomorrow."

The Sunday following the banquet, will be the commencement of the next graduating class, the 151st class of WTS.
