Out of the wreckage of the storms that devastated the American South come two stories of the most meaningful kind of renewal.
The Billy Graham Evangelical Association deployed their Rapid Response Team to tornado-ravaged Mayflower, Ark. to offer survivors "emotional and spiritual support." As chaplains went from house to house, they connected with two different residents who openly discussed their views on faith.
When the chaplains explained what the life, death and resurrection of Christ meant for them, the two survivors decided to follow Jesus. These moments of salvation are beacons of hope for a community in need of them.
