West Ham United vs. Manchester United for May 10, 2016: Preview and Predictions

It is their final meeting of the season.

On game week 35, West Ham United host Manchester United at the Boleyn Ground in the English Premier League. The matchup is on May 10, 2016 at 2:45 PM ET.

This should be a very interesting match as both teams are only separated by four points - Manchester United fifth in the league with 63 points and West Ham seventh with 59.

Both teams have another game to play after their clash so with only a slim lead, Manchester can ensure the lead over West Ham by winning. The Hammers on the other hand can cut the deficit to one if they beat the Red Devils.

Regarding injuries, West Ham only have one player on the sideline as Adrian is out due to a calf muscle strain.

Meanwhile, the Red Devils have more names on the sideline with William Keane out due to a groin strain, Luke Shaw is not available due to a broken leg and Bastian Schweinsteiger is nursing an MCL injury.

Marouane Fellaini will also be out of the game as he is serving a suspension due to a red card.

Looking at form, West Ham have only lost once in their last 11 league games. However, the results have been draws and their most recent game was a 4-1 loss to Swansea City.

After Manchester, West Ham travel to Stoke City for their final game of the season.

Meanwhile, the Red Devils have only lost once in their last seven league games. They are unbeaten in their last four and most recently won 1-0 against Norwich City.

This is their final away game and they are hoping to can get a big win that can eliminate one of the contenders for their spot at the table.

After this, United face AFC Bournemouth at Old Trafford.

Battles between the two teams have always been close, with United winning 2-1 in their last clash – at the FA Cup.

They have also drawn in three of their last four clashes and expect another stalemate between the two teams this time.
