What Happens When You Text While Driving? This... (VIDEO)

Even on a quiet night when the roads are clear, texting while driving is a bad idea. Here's police video from Jan. 4 in Fort Myers, Fla. of a motorist having trouble with one of the basic tenets of driving an auto vehicle: Go in a straight line.

After the driver turns at a light, she suddenly speeds up and veers into a tree, flipping her car. She climbs out, and it appears that while shaken, she's okay. Police determined the cause of the crash to be texting while driving.
