Whitney Houston Daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown Rushed to Hospital

Bobbi Kristina Brown, late Whitney Houston's 18-year-old daughter, was reportedly rushed to Cedars-Sinai hospital in Los Angeles, Calif. Sunday.

TMZ reported that Bobbi Kristina was removed from the Beverly Hilton Hotel on a stretcher, according to sources. The celebrity news site also wrote that police and fire officials had responded to the call for a medical emergency, but it was not revealed who was being transported.

There is no word yet as to why the 18-year-old was taken to the hospital.

The Beverly Hilton is the same hotel that music legend Whitney Houston was pronounced dead Saturday at 3:55 p.m. PST.

According to Beverly Hills police Lt. Mark Rosen, officers received the 911 call from Hilton security at 3:43 p.m. on Feb. 11. He relayed that paramedics, who were already at the hotel because of a Grammy party, unsuccessfully tried to revive Houston, The Associated Press has reported.

"There were no obvious signs of any criminal intent," said Rosen.

Houston, 48, had a history with drug abuse, but according to Kristen Foster the cause of death is unknown.

TMZ reported that a shouting match had ensued between police and Bobbi Kristina outside Houston's fourth floor hotel room Saturday. Law enforcement sources told the site that the teen had tried to see her mother's body. However, after she was informed that no one was allowed into the room Bobbi Kristina began to "scream, curse, and demand to see her mother."

According to TMZ, other family and friends who were in the Hilton hotel room when police officials arrived had identified Whitney Houston's body.

"We are devastated by the loss of our beloved Whitney. This is an unimaginable tragedy and we will miss her terribly," the Houston family told Us Weekly in a statement Sunday.

Houston's death comes on the eve of the Grammy Awards – the biggest night in music. Grammy organizers have revealed that the pop legend would be remembered in a special tribute by singer Jennifer Hudson.
