World Evangelical Alliance Expands List of Global Partners

The World Evangelical Alliance (WEA) received Micah Network as its newest Global Partner this week, adding to its list of international partner organizations.

“We are very happy to announce that Micah Network has joined WEA as its newest Global Partner,” said Geoff Tunnicliffe, International Director of the WEA, in an announcement released on Nov. 16.

Micah Network is a group of some 300 Christian relief, development and justice organizations that work together to meet the needs of the poor and oppressed, proclaim the mission of the church, and advocate Biblical values to leaders and decision makers around the world.

Micah Network will be joining seven other Global partners that are serving the WEA constituency. Global Partner membership is given to international organizations that specialize in a field that contribute to the WEA’s mission and objectives.

“It is my heartfelt prayer that God will bless the Micah Network/WEA relationship, and use it to enhance our capacities to serve him,” said Micah Network chair Steve Bradbury, according to the WEA.

“We already have one very significant joint initiative, the Micah Challenge,” said Bradbury, referring to the joint campaign to mobilize Christians against poverty. “We look forward to praying and working with you to grow its impact at global, regional and national levels.”
