Worst 'Wheel of Fortune' Contestant Ever? Julian Batts Loses $1 Million on Completely Filled Puzzle (VIDEO)

The Wheel of Fortune was spinning in Julian Batts's favor, no doubt about it.

Last week, the Indiana University honors student landed on the highly unlikely $1 million space that's sandwiched between two 'Bankrupt' slots, and correctly guessed a letter for it. Eventually, he filled every letter in the puzzle, virtually guaranteeing he'd be America's newest millionaire, minted on national television. He just had to read the solution – and he blew it, mispronouncing 'Achilles.'

On top of that, Batts got ridiculously close to winning a new car and a trip to London, and lost on out on those, too. But somehow, he still won the game and made it to the bonus round.

Considering the recent Most Amazing Solve, perhaps fortunes on the show needed to balance out. Batts's cringeworthy outing should do the trick.
