I occasionally listen to your radio program. You talk a lot about being a steward and gaining financial freedom. I must admit I am a bit skeptical. What do you mean by the term “financial freedom”?
Children’s Hunger Fund, based in California, broke ground last month on a new facility in Prosper, about 25 miles north of Dallas, where an estimated 100 million meals will eventually be distributed to local children living in poverty.
The far-left civil rights organization Southern Poverty Law Center has added the conservative Evangelical parachurch ministry Focus on the Family to its list of "anti-LGBTQ+ hate groups," joining similar organizations that advocate for traditional beliefs on sexuality and family.
There are degrees of poverty. Crossing the border from Uganda to South Sudan reveals such a difference. In April, Texans on Mission created a nonprofit in South Sudan to address the extreme water needs.
In New York City, older adults of Latin American origin face significant challenges related to poverty and loneliness.
If we care about rural America, we have to get over ourselves and work through local churches.
