Sprint Cup Series 2015 Preview, Latest News: Stewart-Haas Racing Has Uncertainty Despite Host of Stars

For a four car team that features a three time Sprint Cup series champion and the reigning Cup Champion the Stewart Haas Racing team begins the 2015 will an amazing amount of uncertainty. Chief among those concerns center around the legal trouble of Kurt Busch. Going through a Domestic Violence trial to an incident last fall Kurt could be suspended at some point by NASCAR in the wake of the NFL bungling of the Ray Rice situation.

On top of that, Tony Stewart is back at the track after the tragedy he suffered though last fall coming off his worst season since coming to NASCAR. Some are wondering how Smoke will bounce back. The fourth car is that of the always inconsistent Danica Patrick now beginning her third full season in the Sprint Cup Garage. How these issues play out will go a long way in determining if one of the Stewart-Haas cars can win their second championship in a row.

#4 Kevin Harvick- Harvick is the reining Sprint Cup Champion and Rodney Childers is back leading the #4 team. They look to put in another solid performance and contend for the title once more.

#10 Danica Patrick- Danica brings a lot of attention with her and sponsorship from Go Daddy. However in two full Sprint Cup Season she has earned just four top 10 finishes. Her average finish was her best in NASCAR but at 23.7 Danica needs to find her way to the front of the pack.

#14 Tony Stewart- It seems like Tony is stretched a little thin with being a part-owner of the organization and one of hits headline drivers. Hopefully he has put the events of last fall behind him and can get back to racing the fans expect him too.

#41 Kurt Busch- Busch won a race and made the Chase all in his first year with the team. Now the challenge is to find a way to repeat that success and to advance a tad farther than the Challenger round.
