The 2018 Jeep Wrangler is set to make its debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show later this month, but as early as now, fuel economy ratings for the all-new off-road vehicle have already been revealed.

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) recently published the 2018 Jeep Wrangler's fuel economy ratings on its website.

The 2018 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited equipped with a 3.6-liter V6 engine and six-speed manual transmission delivers 17 miles per gallon (mpg) during city driving, 23 mpg for highway driving and 19 mpg for combined driving. Meanwhile, the 2018 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited with the same engine and an eight-speed automatic transmission achieves 18 mpg during city driving, 23 mph for highway driving and 20 mpg for combined driving.

These numbers will translate to lower gas expenses compared to the current Wrangler Unlimited models which consume about one to two more mpg. According to the EPA's cost calculator, prospective owners will potentially be able to save $150 with the 2018 Wrangler with six-speed manual transmission and $250 with the eight-speed automatic transmission.

The 2018 Jeep Wrangler is also expected to have a four-cylinder engine option, but information about its performance and fuel efficiency have yet to be revealed.

Meanwhile, a screenshot of the Fiat-Chrysler dealer system has been leaked, and it reveals the list of paint colors that will be available for the 2018 Jeep Wrangler. According to the leak, there will be five new clear coat color choices: Nacho, Mojito!, Punk'n Metallic, Ocean Blue and Sting-Gray. These will be joined by five currently available color options: Billet Silver Metallic, Firecracker Red, Granite Crystal Metallic, Bright White and Black.

Jeep previously teased that the upcoming 2018 Wrangler will be equipped with advanced powertrains, more safety features and advanced technologies, as well as more options for the ultimate off-road experience.

The automaker will reveal technical specifications and other official details at the Los Angeles Auto Show on Wednesday, Nov. 29.
