Jeep recently released the first official pictures of the 2018 Wrangler. Though the American automaker isn't planning to reveal technical specifications of the next-generation SUV until the Los Angeles Auto Show 2017, a leak has seemingly revealed some of the standard features and base pricing.

In a press release on Oct. 31, the first images of the 2018 Jeep Wrangler were published. The promotional pictures show the vehicle's design cues, including the iconic keystone-shaped grille and highly recognizable round headlamps.

Apart from a short teaser, Jeep did not reveal specific details. However, it seems that prospective customers can already learn more about the next-generation SUV courtesy of a leaked copy of the standard equipment list.

According to JL Wrangler Forums, the 2018 Jeep Wrangler will be available in the Sport, Sahara and Rubicon trims. The all-new SUV will be powered by a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine which will be available with either a manual or automatic transmission.

The 2018 Jeep Wrangler Sport will have a starting price of $30,445, exclusive of a $995 delivery charge. It will come standard with electronic stability control, hill start assist, traction control, skid plate, tinted glass, three tow hooks and a five-inch infotainment system.

For consumers who want more standard equipment, they can opt for the Sahara trim. Meanwhile, the range-topper Rubicon naturally comes with standard gear and comfort features for the ultimate off-road experience.

It is important to note that the leaked standard equipment guide is just a preliminary list and will still be subject to change.

Official details and specs for the 2018 Jeep Wrangler will be revealed during its debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show on Wednesday, Nov. 29. The next-generation SUV is expected to go on sale in early 2018.
