ABC's hit superhero drama TV series "Marvel's Agents of SHIELD" Season 3 returns this week and fans better brace themselves for an all-out war that is about to take place in the brand new episode, which happens to be the second to the last before the show signs off for the season.

The synopsis provided over at Comic Book for the episode titled "Failed Experiments," teases a big showdown between Coulson's SHIELD and Hive/Ward, who now has in possession Secret Warrior's own, agent Daisy. With the pressing situation, the director will be prompted to act quickly to stop Hive from amassing more Inhumans than he could take control of.

Coulson's side looks pretty much under-gunned this time without Daisy. The latter was seen in the previous episode going up against her former team members. However, it's quite clear that Hive's control on her is not that complete as she still holds some of her memories. She even told those she knocked down in SHIELD that it was not really her intention to hurt them. She only did the terrible thing because she is put under influence by the enemy.

Also in that episode, Coulson made it clear for everyone to protect Daisy at all cost. May reacted rather negatively by telling him he's letting his emotions affect his judgment. Coulson however insisted Daisy's importance in his life. Will the SHIELD director stick to his promise when worse comes to its worst in the next episode?

The promo video previewed some of the explosive moments that are to be expected in the upcoming episode. In one scene, Hive tells someone the horror that the agency is about to face.

"If you were scared before, you should be dead terrified now," he said as he reaches out for someone else's neck to choke.

Explosion, gun fighting and two blue-skinned creatures laying havoc everywhere can be seen in the video.
