Ariana Grande Lip Syncs, Reveals Relative with Huge Crush on Jimmy Fallon

Ariana Grande appeared as a guest on a recent episode of "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" where she had an entire conversation with the host by lip syncing popular songs. The pop star also shared that her grandmother had a crush on Fallon.

"The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" is well known for its lip sync battle segment. In the past, the host had battled it out with the likes of Ellen DeGeneres, Tom Cruise, and many more. However, on Monday evening, Fallon decided to take a different route and did a lip sync convo with Grande instead.

The lip sync skit was set in the singer's dressing room and started with Fallon singing G-Eazy's "Me, Myself & I" as he entered to which Grande responded with 4 Non Blondes' "What's Up" ("Hey, hey, hey, I said hey, what's going on?"). The duo then moved on to discussing their #ThrowbackThursday Instagram posts to the tune of Lukas Graham's "7 Years" and Frank Sinatra's "It Was a Very Good Year." They also talked about their plans for the weekend. Jimmy said he'll be dropping by Home Depot to swing from a chandelier (cue: Sia's "Chandelier") to which Grande sang Zayn Malik's Pillow Talk in response. This was the part Fallon thought best to include Grande's new single "Dangerous Woman," which she performed at the end of the show.

"Dangerous Woman" is one of the songs included in her album of the same name which dropped last month. She also sang her new song at the TIME 100 Gala on Tuesday, along with "Leave Me Lonely." Grande was an honoree, making it in the list of the 100 most influential people in the world this year.

Back to Jimmy's show on Monday, the lip sync conversation wasn't the only highlight. Grande's grandmother, who she affectionately calls nonna, along with her mother and brother were in the audience. Nonna, Grande reveals, has a soft spot for Fallon.

"When I told her I was going to take her to meet you, she was like, 'Oh! I've got to start planning my outfit'," Grande shared. "I was like, 'Nonna, what do you think is going to come from this?' and she goes, 'You never know. I'm very naughty'."
