'Arrow' Casting News, Update: Mister Terrific and Anarky Actors Confirmed for Season 4

At the recently-held WB/DC TV panel in San Diego Comic-Con, executive producer Marc Guggenheim revealed two new characters coming over for the fourth season of The CW's hit superhero TV drama series "Arrow." Tthese are Mister Terrific and Anarky, the show runner said.

Echo Kellum signed for the recurring role of Curtis Holt, a.k.a. Mr. Terrific. The "Ben and Kate" alum's character was described by Entertainment Weekly as a "technological savant and inventor who works at Palmer Technologies under the supervision of Felicity Smoak [Emily Bett Rickards]."

In the comics, however, Holt was an "extremely intelligent Olympic-level athlete who joined the Justice Society of America following the death of his wife and unborn child."

Guggenheim previously teased that Mr. Terrific will be gay and that fans will get to see his secret origin, which will probably be different from the source-material.

As for Anarky, Comic Book Resources confirmed that Alexander Calvert, who starred in "Bates Motel," will play Lonnie Machin in Season 4. The character was described as a "deranged freelancing criminal who is willing to do whatever it takes to impress a potential employer."

Created by Alan Grant and Norm Breyfogle for the 1989 "Detective Comics" series, the antihero is said to debut in the second episode of the show.

"Arrow" Season 4 premieres this Oct. 7 on The CW.
