'Arrow' Season 3 News, Spoilers: Finale Updates and Other Major Teasers
The third season of the hit crime fighting TV drama series "Arrow" sure have a lot of exciting twists and turns, not to mention the exhilarating action scenes and drama. And as the show approaches its culmination, spoiler reports indicated that fans of the DC TV series will get more of such things as it moves forward in this week's brand new episode titled "The Fallen."
Last week, we saw Ra's al Ghul (Matt Nable) further forcing Oliver (Stephen Amell ) into accepting his offer of taking over the League of Assassins. He did so by driving his sword to Thea (Willa Holland), leaving the younger Queen grasping to life.
As indicated by the synopsis posted on The Futon Critic, Ollie and the rest of the group will take a journey to Nanda Parbat with hopes to bring back Thea's life via the magical waters of the Lazarus Pit.
Of course, this won't be an easy solution for the Arrow as he has to compromise his ideals by joining the League for him to save his sister.
Executive producer Marc Guggenheim did confirm to the press (via Fashion & Style) that Ollie will take the Demon's Head.
"The question is, first of all, why the hell would he do that? And once he's done it, how is there still an Arrow -- both in terms of the hero and, quite frankly, the show itself? Once you're in, you're in [as the new Ra's]. But in order to stay in, you've got to do some stuff," the executive producer said.
Guggenheim meanwhile took to his social media to post an image of the "mystery set" to be featured in the finale episode titled "My Name is Oliver Queen." The photo showed what looks like a cargo plane.
A report from ET Online meanwhile quoted the showrunner shedding more details about the finale's set.
"Right now there are no plans for it to play beyond [the finale]," Guggenheim hinted. "There's a fair amount of green-screen work to make it work, and the scene that we shot featured Ra's, Nyssa and Oliver."
"Arrow" Season 3 Ep. 20 airs this Wednesday, April 22, and the finale on May 13, on The CW.
