"Ash vs Evil Dead" season 2 will see Ash dealing not only with Deadites but also with his father, who will teach him some very important lessons and values in life.

Lee Majors will join the cast of "Ash vs Evil Dead" season 2 as Ashley Williams' (Bruce Campbell) father, who the main character will find annoying and wise at the same time. Fans will see the older Williams constantly supervising his son and teaching him how to be humble, Movie News Guide reports.

One of the reasons why Majors was chosen for the role is his close resemblance to Campbell. His character will be struggling with Ash, but will also give him useful tips on dealing with the Deadites, according to the International Business Times.

While Ash thinks his father is crazy, Majors' character actually knows a few secret things about his son. The upcoming season will shed some light on Ash's life before the Deadites entered the scene, the report reveals.

Based on the spoilers for "Ash vs Evil Dead" season 2, Ash will make an important decision. A radio news update about sinkholes appearing in various areas around the world will make him return with Kelly and Pablo, a returning character from season 1.

There are speculations that the sinkholes serve as portals that the Deadites use for their travel, but this has not yet been confirmed.

Fans have yet to see if Ash will be able to end the plague of the Deadites or not. With his father's help, he might just find a way to stop the problem for good. Viewers will have to stay tuned to the upcoming installment to find out if Ash's team-up with his dad will result in some effective solutions for the plague.

Meanwhile, Ray Santiago will reprise his role as Pablo in season 2 and Dana DeLorenzo, who previously played the role of Kelly, will also return to the show.
