'Assassin's Creed: Origins' News: Some Fans Express Concern Over Reported Issues Observed in PC Demo

Recent report hinted that a PC demo of 'Origins' suffered from framerate-related issues

"Assassin's Creed: Origins" will hit multiple platforms next month, although some PC players are now getting worried that they may be given a lesser version of the game.

A recent article from WCCF Tech's Dave Aubrey features the writer's impressions of the game after getting an opportunity to try out a demo of it.

The writer tried playing a PC demo of the game and reported that problems related to low framerate were adversely affecting it. Aubrey added that the issues observed were reminiscent of the same ones that impacted "Assassin's Creed: Unity."

That article has now caught the attention of some fans of the series over on Reddit.

Thus far at least, it looks like fans have varied opinions of the reported issues observed by Aubrey.

Some fans are staying optimistic and are hoping that the PC demo Aubrey tried out was simply an older one. It is unclear if that was indeed the case, though there are fans hoping that those aforementioned issues have been addressed.

Other players are also waiting to pass judgment, citing the lack of PC specs provided.

Upon learning about those reported issues, some other Redditors have indicated that they may wait until after launch day has passed to read up on whether the PC version of "Assassin's Creed: Origins" really was affected by framerate-related issues and then decide after if they would still get the game.

The good news here for fans is that there is still time for the developers to address the reported issues with the PC version. There are a few more weeks remaining before the game hits stores, and hopefully for fans, that is enough time for the developers to iron out any issues that may be negatively impacting the PC version.

"Assassin's Creed: Origins" is set to be released on Oct. 27.
