'Assassin's Creed Syndicate Secret – A Game Within A Game That Is Set In London Of WWI Era

Ubisoft has put in surprising secrets in the gameplay of "Assassin's Creed Syndicate." The surprises started with the last game, "Assassin's Creed: Unity." Gamers will discover a portal that will lead them to London in the WWI era and they will play as Lydia Frye.

Gamers who played last year's "Assassin's Creed: Unity" might recall cutscenes where they encountered the characters suddenly pushed out of the French revolution and thrust into different time periods. "Assassin's Creed: Syndicate" has taken the same strategy but has turned it around completely as the segment takes place during World War I in London.

Users may have noticed an icon appearing on the very edge of the river Thames. It is very unobtrusive and appears when you are in the latter half of the game around Sequence Six. A strange voice will lure gamers towards the icon and it will be revealed to be a portal.

Once the gamer accepts the mission, the portal opens and brings the gamer to London in the WWI era. The portal will lead into quite a large sequence that will have a lot of missions and the gamer gets to collect a lot of collectibles. It is a game within a game.

The player has to complete the missions as Lydia Frye, the granddaughter and great-niece of the game's main two heroes Jacob and Evie Frye.

Players who know a bit of what was happening in London during WWI will relate to Lydia Frye asking Winston Churchill about the right to vote. During this time, women had joined together to form groups to lead the 'Suffragette' movement. Some groups were non-violent while some were radical.

Getting back to the secret, without revealing more that could really spoil it for other gamers, the action for this secret game happens in the vicinity of the Tower Bridge area of London.

Lydia Frye, like her parents and Jacob and Evie Frye, is a skilled Assassin. Like them, she has been trained by the Brotherhood. She has access to the game's full skill tree. In whatever has been revealed, gamers will see Lydia climbing the Tower Bridge of London to complete a mission that involves countering a zeppelin raid by the German air force.

As people complete the missions playing as Lydia, they will meet Juno who will tell them about the 'First Civilization' and will also hint at where the story of the series will go.
