However, they face a confidence Ravens team, and the Falcons will have to do much better than they have in previous weeks if they are to avoid another loss.

Last week's 48-17 win against Tampa Bay will have given the Ravens a lot of confidence. That game had an extraordinary first quarter and saw Joe Flacco became the first player to have four touchdowns passes in the first quarter since Minnesota's Tommy Kramer in 1986

Flacco managed to record the best quarterback rating of his career, setting the game alight with 146.0 after completing an impressive 72.4 percentage of his passes.

Justin Forsett did a lot of the damage, helping the Ravens secure a team season high of 111 yards on 14 carries as Forsett rose to fifth in the NFL with 408 yards so far this season.

Coach John Harbaugh said, "You're going to find out this is a very good football team. And to play the way we did in a game that's kind of a business game, a game we need to win to do the things we want to do, it speaks a lot to who we are as a football team."
