Things are getting more intense as Season 4 of A&E's psychological horror drama TV series "Bates Motel" continues this week with a brand new episode that will see Sheriff Romero (Nestor Carbonell) and Dylan (Max Thieriot) working together, hoping to bring Norma (Vera Farmiga) back to her senses as well as take action on Norman (Freddie Highmore) after their suspicions were verified that the young man had already lost his mind which could drive him to harm someone.

Spoiler alert for those who missed "Unfaithful". Norman and Norma had an intense fight about Romero. The Bates matriarch reiterated to her son that she loves Romero. This only angered Norman even more.

Consumed with rage and driven by frustration, he walked out of the dinner table and headed outside to chop wood. Romero followed him, in an effort to pacific the tension. However, it's quite clear that Norman won't have any such talks. It's quite horrifying to see Norman holding into himself as it seems quite clear that he wants to hack off the town officer.

The synopsis shared over at Spoilers Daily reveals details about the upcoming episode titled "Forever." As stated, Dylan and Romero will take the matter into their own hands since Norma is turning a blind eye on her son's fatal tendencies. Romero will be the most affected with how Norman is behaving currently. Viewers should expect a bit of a confrontation between the newly weds. Will the mother hear out reasons?

What's even troubling in the summary is the fact that in the episode, "Norman and Norma will try to reconnect as they plan for the future." It remains to be seen what plans would the mother and son have for themselves.

The spoiler report from TVLine indicates that the penultimate episode will definitely put the viewers at the edge of their seats.

"…you will need something to clutch during the final 10 minutes. It's the biggest, most game-altering episode of the show to date," the media outlet specified.

Find out how these events unfold when "Bates Motel" Season 4 airs this Monday, May 9 a.m. on A&E.
