'Batman: Arkham Knight' New Patch Enables Photo Mode and More, Red Hood Story DLC Released
Rocksteady Studios released the details of a new patch for its latest and the last Batman trilogy installment series "Batman: Arkham Knight."
The 1.05 update features a huge 4.3 GB worth of file size that will include a new Photo Mode which basically let players take a snap of the Dark Knight, or anyone/anything else in the game, and then edit and share them with their friends online.
Aside from the Photo Mode, another highlight of the update is the Force Original Voice Cast option for Non-English Territories.
There's also the Support for August additional content, Updates for WBPlay and Downloadable Content, as well as general gameplay, graphical, audio, UI, and localisation fixes.
According to the site, the patch is now rolling out for the console versions of the game. It is still unclear if players of the PC edition will be receiving the update given their yet-to-be-sorted-out issues.
Also happening this week is the release of the new pre-order story DLC. Titled the "Red Hood" DLC, the new update allows players to take control of Red Hood in a rather short story campaign.
Previous DLCs released for the critically-acclaimed action-adventure game includes the Prototype Batmobile skin, the Batman Beyond skin, the 1st Screen Appearance Batman skin as well as the Dark Knight Returns skin pack.
All DLC are currently available for holders of the game's Season Pass.
Upcoming updates of the game are also slated to arrive this month. Called the "interim" patch, it seeks to deal with the many issues plaguing the game for the last months which include frame rate support, texture bugs, graphic adjustments, and overall gaming performance.
"We would like to thank you for your continued patience and invaluable feedback," the statement from Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment in Steam reads. "We are continuing to monitor and listen for any additional issues and are driving towards a full update for everyone as quickly as we possibly can."
