Black Friday 2011: Old Navy Offers Free 12MP Kodak (VIDEO)

Midnight on Black Friday seems to be the agreed upon time for many department stores looking to be a part of the Black Friday excitement. Low prices are another agreed upon strategy, tailored for many cash strapped customers.

Old Navy Offers Free 12MP Kodak On $40 Purchases

A great part of the Black Friday excitement is comparison shopping, and finding stores that are genuinely providing hard-to-beat prices even for hard-to-reach wallets. While many are hunting the latest electronic toys that will sparkle in your hand but not break your budget, some are looking for clothes that will keep you looking sharp and protect you from the elements.

Old Navy, the popular retailer that was founded in 1994, has frequently outdone the competition with stylish merchandise retailing for as low as under $10, is up for the challenge once more for Black Friday 2011. The store is offering a whole host of items at low prices, including tees, baby fleece, men’s performance fleece accessories, and women’s V neck fleece as low as $5.

Shoppers are invited to come early for an offer of a free 12MP Kodak easyshare sport waterproof digital camera, a $100 value, on purchases over $40, supplies are limited.

The Black Friday sale event is a chance for many department stores to attract customers especially during a difficult economy.

For many retailers, Black Friday can make a significant impact on their bottom line. The day is named “Black Friday” because of the potential for many, at this time of year, to make it out of the red.
