Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani Update: Female Singer Admits 'Make Me Like You' Was About New Love

Gwen Stefani has finally admitted that her single "Make Me Like You" is about her new boyfriend Blake Shelton.

In an interview with Jimmy Kimmel, Gwen Stefani said she drew inspiration from Blake Shelton for her new song titled "Make Me Like You." The female singer also talked about how her painful experience turned into a beautiful work of art and she channeled those feelings into her new album, USA Today reports.

"It is, actually, yeah. I will admit that that song is about that guy. ... What's so crazy is that sometimes tragedy — if you really absorb it, you can turn it into something beautiful," Stefani told Kimmel in an interview. "This whole album is about trying to take something awful and, just, I don't know, healing from it and then turn it into something beautiful."
