Calgary Flames vs Washington Capitals Live Stream, Start Time: Watch National Hockey League Online

Trying to turn their season around, the Calgary Flames host the Washington Capitals at Scotiabank Saddledome in the regular season of the National Hockey League.

The match is on October 20, 2015 at 9:00 PM ET.

This is their first meeting of the season and both teams are going through opposite luck in their form early in the campaign.

The Capitals are 3-1 so far and find themselves third in the Metropolitan Division only trailing the New York Rangers and New York Islanders.

On the other hand, the Flames are clearly struggling as they are at the bottom of the Pacific Division with only a 1-4 record in their first five games.

The Capitals opened their season with a 5-3 win over the New Jersey Devils to win their first match at home.

Unfortunately, they could not sustain the momentum as they were blanked 5-0 by the San Jose Sharks in their next match.

They turned things around by thrashing defending champions Chicago Blackhawks to get back on the winning column, before beating the Carolina Panthers 4-1 to record their second straight victory of the season.

Now they are beginning a seven-game road run against the Flames and a win may help them get positive results throughout that stretch.

On the other hand, the Flames are clearly struggling.

In their first match of the season, they faced bitter rivals the Vancouver Canucks and fell 5-1 at home.

They were able to avenge that loss when they moved to Vancouver to record their first win of the season.

Unfortunately, the Flames dropped three straight games as they fell to the St. Louis Blues, Winnipeg Jets and Edmonton Oilers to continue their woes so far.

A big win over an in-form squad in the Capitals should help boost their confidence moving forward.
