Christian Rapper Lecrae to Perform With Wu-Tang Clan, Dipset and Mac Miller

Christian rapper Lecrae will be performing alongside hip-hop veterans such as the Wu-Tang Clan and the Diplomats at this year's Paid Dues independent hip-hop festival presented by rapper Murs and Guerilla Union.

Lecrae, while enjoying great success in the realm of Christian hip-hop, seems to be breaking through to the mainstream more and more, first with an appearance on DJ Statik Selektah's album on the song Live and Let Live, and now joining the lineup at this festival that includes hip-hop acts from all arenas including former mainstreamers, and strictly independent artists.

Along with the list of veterans who will be gracing the mic at Paid Dues 2012 – such as the Wu-Tang Clan, Dipset, and the Oscar award winning Three-6 Mafia – big names in the underground realm of the genre will also perform, including acts such as Brother Ali and Mac Lethal.

For the younger, less experienced hip-hop crowd, newcomers Mac Miller and the Odd Future gang that features rapper Tyler the Creator and singer Frank Ocean will be performing as well.

Paid Dues 2012 is set to kick off on April 7 with general admission tickets selling for $76 and V.I.P. tickets for $176.

V.I.P tickets allow fans to have access to the V.I.P. area as well as the pit in the front of the main stage.

Fans who spring for the tickets also get to participate in an artist meet-n-greet and receive free merchandise, including a backpack, poster, credentials and access to a private full bar and special restroom facilities.

The event will be presented by rapper Murs and the Guerilla Union and will take place in the NOS Events Center on April 7 in San Bernardino, Calif.

Last year's lineup included a reunited Black Star (rappers Mos Def and Talib Kweli) along with Slaughterhouse and underground rap legend Immortal Technique.
