Cleveland Indians vs New York Yankees Live Stream: Watch MLB Playoffs 2017 ALDS Game 4 Online

The Cleveland Indians have another chance to end their series against the New York Yankees on Monday after missing their first opportunity on Sunday in Game 3. Game 4 takes place from Yankee Stadium in New York City, with a scheduled start time of 7.08 p.m. ET. The game can be watched on TV on the FS1 network, or online through live stream (details below).

The Indians were unable to close things out on Sunday, with the Yankees giving themselves a lifeline with a 1-0 victory to claw their way back to 2-1 down.

This will be the second of potentially three must win games for the Yankees if they are to progress in this season's Playoffs, and if they can claim the win here again today they would send things to a winner takes all Game 5 in Cleveland.

Pitchers Masahiro Tanaka and Carlos Carrasco went head to head in Game 3 and for two-thirds of the game they equalled one another in giving a masterclass of pitching to leave hitters on both teams helpless.

The game was decided by a single moment, when Greg Bird smashed a home run off relief ace Andrew Miller in the seventh inning.

That line run was enough to extend the Yankees season one more game at least, and ensure the Indians would not complete a 3-0 rout in this series.

Tanaka was delighted with his performance and the win, saying afterwards: "Probably the biggest win that I have gotten since I came here. I came here to pitch in these types of games and to be able to help the team win in these types of games."

The magnitude of how well Tanaka and Carrasco had performed in Game 3 can be seen when compared with how starters overall have performed this postseason. Through the first 11 games in this MLB postseason, starters had recorded a shockingly bad 6.52 ERA, and had lasted on average just over four innings. Tanaka and Carrasco together lowered that overall ERA to 5.70 with their spectacular show of pitching in Game 3.

However, it will all mean nothing to the Yankees if they lose here today in Game 4. They must win here again today to avoid having their season come to an abrupt end.
