Dr. Sabine Lommers, herself, knows that food shortage can be a very bad thing.

"Hunger creates chaos," Lommers declared in the clip.

And indeed, the next scenes show masked individuals on motorcycles confronting the police forces who are protecting the resources.

Will the police be able to hold off those who wish to hoard the food? How will the authorities outside remedy the problem inside?

According to the synopsis shared over at The Futon Critic, Dr. Lommers will fight off with Major Alex Carnahan on deciding the best method to distribute immediate food supplies for the quarantined.

Lex might be having some doubts that the plan would work out.

"Tough? This is impossible!" the cop told the high-ranking official, adding that they don't have resources inside who could help them distribute the goods.

Jake will also attempt to take control of the situation as the rate of hunger and violence continue to rise up.

The report from TVLine, meanwhile, said that there's no Season 2 coming for the show, which in the first, is touted as a limited series event. "Containment" Season 1 airs Tuesdays, at 9 p.m. on The CW.
