'Criminal Minds' Cast News: AJ Cook Returns to the Series

Fans will see the return of a character in the upcoming episode of "Criminal Minds."

It was reported that AJ Cook will be back in the next episodes of "Criminal Minds" season 11. He recently shared the news on his official Twitter account. According to Carter Matt, his character JJ will be making his appearance in the seventh episode of the season. Titled "Target Rich," the episode featuring his return is expected will be airing on Nov. 11.

However, Cook's return is said to bring the departure of another character. There are speculations that the newly added character, Dr. Tara Lewis, is set to leave the series. Dr. Tara Lewis, played by Aisha Tyler, was seen struggling to balance her work responsibilities as well as time with her fiancé, Douge Fuller, played by Robert Kirkland. With that, fans are wondering whether the situation will lead the way for her exit from the show.

In addition, there are reports stating that Tyler is also busy with other projects, making it hard for her to make time for her role in "Criminal Minds."

On the other hand, it was said that there is a chance that she will continue being a part of the current season. The official synopsis for season 11 of "Criminal Minds" hinted that she will receive a career opportunity that could steer her away from the BAU.

Meanwhile, the upcoming episode of "Criminal Minds" is expected to focus on the murder of a woman. It was revealed that the team will be heading to Florida, where the team will encounter cities filled with sex offenders. The episode will be titled "Pariahville," according to Spoiler TV.

"Criminal Minds" season 11 airs on CBS every Wednesday.
