'Days of Our Lives' News: Melissa Archer Joins the Cast, Nov. 24 to 28 Spoilers

It's going to be an explosive week on "Days of Our Lives" as a new character joins the show, Sonny will be hiding something from Will, and JJ and Eve continue to hide their secret from Paige.

"One Life to Live" alum Melissa Archer is heading to Salem and she will be playing the part of Serena Mason. Serena happens to be the ex-girlfriend of another character on the show.

Serena is "a globe-hopping medical journalist who had a romance with Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) several years ago in Africa. Their love affair ended when Eric chose to enter the priesthood," TVGuide reported.

Will the two of them get back together? It can be recalled that Eric was defrocked when an incident involving him with Kristen DiMera was caught on tape, so Eric is definitely available.

Meanwhile, on the show, Will is in California with his mother Sami Bradi and his husband, Sonny, is feeling out of the loop and left behind. While Will is fulfilling his dream of being a screenwriter in California, Sonny is in Salem, and according to DOOL spoilers Sonny will be hiding something from his husband. Does it have something to do with the new guy in town, Paul?

After JJ and Paige got into another fight, JJ and Paige's mother, Eve, had a shocking one night stand. While JJ is trying to deal with this, he wants to work things out with his girlfriend because he truly loves her. However, Eve is threatening him to break up with Paige. Eve is also rumored to get pregnant by JJ, but will Paige find out that her boyfriend and her mother slept together?

"Days of Our Lives" airs from Mondays to Fridays at 1 p.m. on NBC.
