'Desperate Housewives' Star Eva Longoria Expecting First Child With Jose Bastón

Eva Longoria and husband José Antonio "Pepe" Bastón are expecting their first baby.

The "Desperate Housewives" star is four-months pregnant with a boy, according to PEOPLE magazine. News of the actress' pregnancy was confirmed by her rep on Tuesday.

The 42-year-old may have been hinting at her exciting news just a few weeks ago. On Dec. 6, she hit the red carpet for the L'Oreal Paris 12th Annual Women of Worth Event. A clip from the celebration shows Longoria touching her stomach while smiling for photos.

Bastón serves as the president of Televisa — the biggest Latin America-based media company. He and Longoria began dating in 2013, which was followed by an engagement in Dubai in December 2015. They officially tied the knot in Mexico and many famous stars attended the party, which included a majestic fireworks display.

Before marrying Longoria, Bastón was married to Natalia Esperón, with whom he shares 22-year-old daughter Natalia and 14-year-old twins Mariana and Jose. They also welcomed a son named Sebastian in 2003 but he passed away just days after birth.

A year after her union with Bastón, Longoria sparked pregnancy rumors when she appeared to have a thicker waistline. The brunette beauty spoke with Extra at the time and denied she was pregnant.

"I was just having a cheese baby," she said. "I had a plate of cheese and apparently I'm lactose intolerant."

In other news, Fox is developing two hour-long dramas from Longoria. The first project is an untitled LA Women drama that follows four longtime friends who have achieved their goals in the world of Hollywood together.

The other Fox drama is "Sidekicks," a father-daughter cop series. It centers on an ambitious young police detective named Shay, who is forced to work with a newly-paroled criminal informant, who also turns out to be her father.
