The rapper-singer first announced that he would be releasing his third album in Sept. back in February and launched the first single 'Started from the Bottom'. On that very same night he won the Best Rap Album Grammy Award for Take Care.

Drake also recently leaked a few more songs that could be from the album including the J.Cole assisted 'Jodeci Freestyle,' 'The Motion,' '5 a.m. in Toronto,' 'All Me' ft. Big Sean and 2Chainz, 'Hold On, We're Going Home' and the smash 'Versace' with Migos which will probably not appear on Nothing Was the Same.

He also took to Twitter this week to unveil the artwork for the album cover. This includes both the regular and deluxe versions of Nothing Was the Same.

The artwork features a headshot of Drake with the regular version showing him as a child and the deluxe version showing what he looks like now. There is a blue sky in the background and both appeared to have been drawn up using CGI.

He revisits a similar theme of showing himself as a child on an album cover. This same tactic has been used by several of hip-hop's biggest names including Nas, Notorious B.I.G., Lil Wayne and Common.

The anticipation for the album is quite big and Drake has projected it to sell at least 1 million copies in the first week.
