'Dying Light: The Following' DLC Update: New Features Revealed, Trailer Teases Domesticated Zombies

Open-world first person survival horror video game "Dying Light" is going to get new DLC soon and it's expected bring a whole new level of fun and virtual adventure. According to a report by Games Radar, lots of new stuff is coming along with the expansion "The Following."

Movie Pilot detailed that it will have a new storyline and it will pick up from where the original game concluded. Crane will be setting out on a journey out of the city limits in search of a cure. He will need to go out after a delirious outsider arrives and the need for Antizin among the group increases.

It is revealed that in this expansion's storyline, things will be different including the location, which is outside the inner city walls. Even the undead are different as it seems like their decaying minds have been enhanced by the disease in some way. In fact, the zombies seem to "possess basic cognitive skills, demonstrate a knack for problem-solving and even some primitive form of communication."

According to Express, the trailer released showed that some players will be encountering new domesticated zombies. This actually poses a whole new level of risks when going out after dark. Design & Trend also noted that the developers at Techland are currently tweaking the Be The Zombie mode for "The Following" expansion. The report also detailed that with regard to heavy damage, tackle damage and bullet damage, there is a decrease in damage done for all Night Hunter nests

And compared to before, the UV heal skill is made to take effect faster. This makes humans have more complicated predicaments. There is also an increase in the cost of the grappling hook cooldown and players must destroy at least one nest in order to win.

"Dying Light: The Following" will be out on Feb. 9, 2016 and will be available on Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
