Emily B Vows Not to Talk About Fabolous on New Show 'Chrissy & Mr. Jones'
"Chrissy & Mr. Jones" will debut on Sept 24 with some of the biggest stars of "Love and Hip Hop," but Emily Bustamante said she will not play the role of a woman scorned on the show where she will co-star with Chrissy Lampkin and her love interest Jim Jones.
While Bustamante starred on the original "Love and Hip Hop" as a woman yearning to be publicly recognized by her rapper boyfriend Fabolous, the mother of two said her role on "Chrissy & Jones" will be a bit different.
"I co-star on the 'Chrissy & Mr Jones' show.. I'll be in every episode for those who were wondering #friendship #greatshow," Bustamante tweeted recently. "People keep asking why I'm on that show… Umm cuz that's my friend. My role on the show is strictly about our friendship not FAB!!"
Bustamante received some flack on Twitter for complaining about the rapper not wanting to be featured on the show. However, the reality television star said she recognized that people were tired of seeing her with that storyline.
"Don't nobody wanna do another season of me talking about Fab.. As much as I love him that story line is tired," Bustamante admitted on the social networking website. "Sorry lol yawns."
Still, the reality television star known as "Emily B" said she will be a big part of the show.
"Are y'all excited about me and Chrissy girl talk," the reality television show star asked her Twitter followers. "We have some really great conversations..I'm excited to get to show you a different side of me.. The real me."
While Bustamante will be a part of the show, the reality television series will focus on the relationship between Lampkin and Jones moving to the next step of marriage and starting a family. Jones' popular mother known as "Momma Jones" will also be featured on the reality television series that will make its debut on Sept 24.
