'Empire' Season 2 Episode 12 Spoilers: The Lyon Family Discovers Anika's Pregnancy; Jamal Receives Flak From Fans

Fox's highly rated family drama TV series "Empire" Season 2 returned after its midseason break with Hakeem Lyon gaining control of the Empire Entertainment and his father, Lucious, ousted from his own company. But will the Lyon cub be able to keep up with the huge responsibility given the fact that there are certain issues that he himself needs to address?

Spoiler alert for those who missed Episode 11, "Death Will Have His Day," Hakeem promised Laura that she'd be the only one for him. But the latest developments saw him taking the very woman who pulled down his father from his throne, Camilla, to bed. Adding more complication is the fact that the news of Anika's pregnancy is yet to be revealed.

In a promo clip for Season 2B, Cookie reprimands her son for being irresponsible.

"So you don't know how to use a condom, stupid?!" the mother Lyon said, as she slaps Hakeem in the head.

Design & Trend meanwhile wrote that the show's upcoming episode "A Rose By Any Other Name," will further shed light on Anika's pregnancy. As stated by the media outlet, the Lyon family will know of Hakeem's baby. As to how this news will affect everyone, it is yet to be known, but it would be safe to assume that it won't spell well to Hakeem. D&T also speculated that Anika might be faking her pregnancy for some reasons that may involve her taking a slice of the music empire.

Over at The Futon Critic, it is also teased that Jamal will be receiving some backlash from his fans after he hooked up with a young woman named Skye Summers in the previous episode.

"Empire" Season 2 features the acts of Terrence Howard as Lucious Lyon, Taraji P. Henson as Cookie Lyon, Jussie Smollett as Jamal Lyon, Bryshere 'Yazz' Gray as Hakeem Lyon and Naomi Campbell as Camilla.

The show airs every Wednesdays, at 9 p.m. on Fox.
