'Empire' Season 2 Episode 7 Spoilers: Cookie's Son Is Unhappy With Her New Love Affair; Lucious Makes Plans

Fox's hit drama TV series "Empire" Season 2 returns this week with a brand new episode that is expected to feature the reactions of the Lyon boys over their mother's new fling. Meanwhile, Lucious explores the possibility of striking a deal that could make his music label a major household name in the episode titled "True Love Never."

In the synopsis shared over at Design and Trend, it is said that Lucious will brew up a plan to make his Empire transform from being a record label into a "global music monolith." To do so, he will approach Jago, the founder and head of a hugely successful music streaming company. Will their talk be a fruitful one?

Meanwhile, the summary went on to hint about Andre's struggle to maintain the "delicate balance" between two important aspects of his life - his faith and his career.

Hakeem, this time around, will be busy working with Laura to make her into a star while Cookie is having plans of her own to further put the word out there about Lyon Dynasty. The strategy, according to the details, will involve the label getting major coverage in an upcoming televised charity music event.

Speaking of Cookie, it appears that her son won't be too happy to see her with Laz. The promo video that is also shared by D&T shows Hakeem utterly distressed with her mother's new love affair.

"I don't trust him," Hakeem said to Cookie who quickly questioned his judgment, telling him that he didn't even know Laz.

"I'm just saying, ma," Hakeem maintained. "Be careful."

Followers of the show might already have the idea as to why Hakeem acted this way. Apparently, Laz Delgado has the same tattoo as the one the singer saw on one of his kidnappers when he was abducted in one of the previous episodes.

Find out what happens next when "Empire" Season 2 Episode 7 "True Love Never" airs this Wednesday, Nov. 11 at 9 p.m. on Fox.
