'Final Fantasy VII Remake,' 'Final Fantasy XV' to be Available on Nintendo NX?

Rumor has it that Square Enix will be porting two "Final Fantasy" titles to the upcoming Nintendo NX. These games are "Final Fantasy VII Remake" and "Final Fantasy XV."

The rumor comes from YouTuber SuperMetalDave64, who has been reliable when it comes to rumors in the past. The YouTuber says in the video below that the reason for porting these two games to the Nintendo NX is because the gaming device will be better graphically than Sony's PlayStation 4. The games will purportedly run at a stable high frame rate.

Although his source is not a developer of "Finaly Fantasy VII Remake" or "Final Fantasy XV," the source has been correct about some things in the past. SuperMetalDave64, however, cautions "Final Fantasy" fans to take the rumor as just that.

Square Enix announced previously that it has plans to release its "Dragon Quest" titles to the upcoming Nintendo device. Because of this expressed support, it's assumed that the company already has its hands on NX developer kits.

Square Enix is also currently working on finishing development on the two "Final Fantasy" titles. "Final Fantasy VII Remake" is a timed PS4 exclusive right now, although the company has stated previously how they're considering releasing the game on other platforms as well.

Meanwhile, "Final Fantasy XV" is expected to be launched this year. Fans expect the exact release date, along with the game's price and playable, to be announced during Square Enix's Uncovered event in March. Tickets for the "FFXV" March event sold out in just one day, but those interested can still catch the event through Square Enix's official YouTube and Twitch channels where it will be livestreamed.

Like "Final Fantasy XV," Nintendo NX has been rumored to release within the year as well. However, Nintendo has been keeping details about the device wrapped in mystery as of the moment. Speculations suggest, however, that the upcoming portable and home console could either replace or work together with existing Nintendo consoles 3DS and Wii U.
