'Game of Thrones' Season 3 Most Pirated Show of 2013

According to new reports, the HBO historical fiction drama "Game of Thrones" is so popular among fans that it is in fact the no. 1 most pirated show.

Torrent Freak released a list of the most pirated shows earlier today, and the HBO drama topped the list.

"Game of Thrones" receives an estimated 5,900,000 bit torrent downloads this year. It beat out the second most pirated show, "Breaking Bad," by over 1 million downloads, according to Torrent Freak.

Here is Torret Freak's top ten list of most pirated shows.

1. "Game of Thrones" which earned 5.9 million downloads

2. "Breaking Bad, " which earned 4.2 million downloads

3. "The Walking Dead," which earned 3.6 million downloads

4. "The Big Bang Theory," which earned 3.4 million downloads

5. "Dexter" which earned 3.1 million downloads

6. "How I Met Your Mother" which earned 3 million downloads

7. "Suits" which earned 2.6 million downloads

8. "Homeland" which earned 2.4 million downloads

9. "Vikings," which earned 2.3 million downloads

10. "Arrow" which earned 2.2 million downloads

George R.R. Martin, who penned the "Game of Thrones" book series, recently revealed some details about season four's wedding when talking with TV Guide.

"It's going to be the wedding of the year, and as memorable in its own way as our wedding last season. It's what the fans call the Purple Wedding, based on the color of the wine, which plays a big part," said Martin.
