Game of Thrones director Alex Graves has in fact promised fans that it will be the "largest" and "most exciting" finale that's been done yet: "It's the largest, I think, most exciting episode that's been done," according to USA Today.

Graves of course directed the shock episode earlier in Season 4 when King Joffrey was murdered, and that episode already stunned devoted fans of the show. If Graves is so confidently stating that the finale will top that then fans can rest assured they are in for a treat tonight.

Fans will remember that in the Season 3 finale there was a big shocker in the Red Wedding episode, and the show's creators will no doubt be looking to top the excitement and drama surrounding that episode in tonight's Season 4 finale.

Actor Peter Dinklage recently spoke about his character, Tyrion Lannister, to the Los Angeles Times, stating: "I don't think anything's fair in King's Landing, is it. He's the fall guy in this situation, isn't he?"

He added, "They just wanted to make it all easy and make me go away, but I think Tyrion is quite a survivor. Hopefully he will find a way. I hope so, because I like my job… It's great fun. Since I've joined 'Game of Thrones,' it's been such a pleasure."

Whether tonight's episode will see the end of Tyrion or whether he will once again reveal his survival instincts remains to be seen. To find out the climax of the storyline around Tyrion and other plots currently playing out, fans must tune in tonight to the Season 4 Finale.

The Game of Thrones Season 4 Finale 'The Children" will start at 9 p.m. on TV on the HBO network.
