Games With Gold April 2016 Brings Four Must-Own Blockbuster Hits

Microsoft has announced the four titles that will be free to download for its Xbox Live Gold members. Next month's lineup include a pair of popular games from Insomniac and more.

First up is Visceral Games Xbox 360 title "Dead Space," which is currently selling for $14.99 at the Xbox Store. The survival horror game will be free starting April 1 until April 15 for both Xbox 360 and Xbox One players, the latter getting it through Xbox's backward compatibility feature.

In addition to "Dead Space," Xbox Live Gold subscribers will still be able to download "Lords of the Fallen." CI Games' action RPG was introduced last month as part of March 2016's Games With Gold offering. The game is currently free for Xbox One players until April 15.

Replacing these two games will be "Sunset Overdrive" and "Saints Row IV." The former is an open world, third-person shooter from Insomniac Games. Xbox One players can download "Sunset Overdrive" from April 16 to May 15.

Meanwhile, "Saints Row IV" is another open world title from developer Volition and publisher Deep Silver that will be available from April 16 to April 30 for both Xbox 360 and Xbox One players. The latter can get the game through backward compatibility.

Last but not least is Telltale Games' "The Wolf Among Us," which will be available to Xbox One players for the entire month of April. The title is an episodic, interactive and mature take at the classic fairy tales.

While waiting for April, Xbox Live Gold subscribers can still download this month's Games with Gold titles. "Sherlock Holmes: Crimes and Punishment" (Xbox One) and "Borderlands" (Xbox 360 and Xbox One through backward compatibility) are both available until March 31. After that, they go back to their regular prices of $29.99 and $19.99, respectively.
